Live2D Animation
We're back with some exciting news! Our animator has sent us the Live2D animated sprites! Check out the video below (note: the video was made in Adobe premiere and not in-engine, so excuse some of the oddities I mention below).
Q&A Regarding the Video
Q: Will their mouths move in the final version? Yes. This was rendered in Adobe Premiere, not in-engine.
Q: Why do the voices not match the text? It's just sample dialogue, we're still deciding on VAs.
Q: Why Do they have white-jagged borders around them? It was rendered in Premiere and the backgrounds masked out, it won't appear in-engine.

We have completed the BackerKit survey, and will be sending that out to all of you soon.
If all goes smoothly on that front, you will have until September 8th to fix any payment issues you had during the Kickstarter (and upgrade to a higher reward tier)!
For the release date, due to the number of stretch goals we will be working on the game for longer than anticipated, we will have more concrete details once we have hired an animator. Because Live2D characters aren't drawn normally (each part being a separate layer) we have some work to do before we release character images for for qt3.14 Speer-chan.
In terms of the rewards, we've had some people message us asking if they can get their physical goods before the game is complete. Typically we ship everything in one big batch, but we are giving you guys the option on BacketKit to get your physical goods early (excluding the game). Make sure to select "Early Shipping" on BackerKit to ensure you get your rewards early!

Where are the stretch goals!?
We've got a clear picture of what we want in the game, and at this point, we've really covered everything we think improves the overall experience. We don't want to add pointless bloat, so as opposed to an unnecessary stretch goal what we're doing is taking the extra budget achieved past the prior goal, to bring Live2D animation to the whole game.
We don't have a specific budget limit for that, because the amount of animation we can include will vary with the amount of funding we can achieve. So at this point, every dollar is going towards adding more animations for the girls throughout the game! More waifu bucks = more waifu animation <3

Lavrentiy Beria - Chief of the Secret Police, and either the least or most popular girl in the Soviet Union depending on who is listening at the time.
Italy
Benito Mussolini - Duce of Italy and close friend of Germany, often makes a fool of herself through terrible military strategies, leading to everyone trying to save her.
Victor Emmanuel III of Italy - King of Italy and often opponent of Benito's nefarious plans.
Julius Evola - Italian Philosopher opposed to Mussolini, for being too soft.
